This was a unique assignment for a very romantic engagement shoot for Lauren and Josh. The groom Josh calls me and tells me how he plans to surprise his girlfriend Lauren and ask her to marry him where they keep their horse at American Cream Stables, whose name is Kaluha, and she is a real beauty. Gorgeous horse as you will see in the photos and so easy to work with that day. I have a love of horses and photographing them. So the beautiful bride to be Lauren was being taken there to do a photoshoot with myself and the horse for Christmas Cards she thought. The groom had a plan to have me photographing her as he would ride up on the horse and surprise her with the ring and asking her to be his wife. I love shooting sweet jobs like this for such a beautiful couple who were great to photograph and we took some real nice romantic photos that day. Many thanks to Lauren and Josh for having me as their photographer on such a special day in both their lives. Loved it, as doesnt get sweeter then that.
This is what Josh, the groom, wrote me after viewing the final photos:
Ok we just got through looking through them. Omg! I love your work!!! You did such a great job. It’s all so perfect. You captured all the right things I had in my mind and I can’t even express how you and I made Lauren feel with the whole thing and now with the photos it’s all just so perfect. Can’t thank you enough for working with me and making my imagination a reality!! Now thats what I love about my job always.
